  before i begin my introductory post, i would like to mention that a number of my initial comments here may be viewed by several of you as watchtower apologist or as sympathetic to the views of the jehovahs witnesses.

  the last thing i want to do is incite a flame war regarding my legitimacy or intentions in joining this forum.

  mostly, i would describe myself as on the fence.

  i don't know if you've read anything like this before, but i'd like to share anyway.

  as you know, we hear time and time again how we've preached pretty much in every country on earth (with a few exceptions for safety reasons).

  well, maybe we have, but that doesn't mean we've reached even half of the people on earth.

  Japan closed down 638 Congregations losing 5,337 Publishers....any ideas why? Internet?

  japan had incredible increases in the 80's and 90's of 20-30 thousand publishers a year until it collapsed in 1998....figure since then till 2011 have been going down.. 1998 -222,912 publishers -3,802 congregation.

  9 years later.. 2006 -217,519 publishers -3,164 congregations {loss of 5,357 publishers closed 638 congregations} .

  {note that japan publishers average 31 hours a month compared to world 15 hours}.

  Did the rise of the internet do this, or the Cult subway gassing in Tokyo around that time, or the "generation 1914 teaching"

  Front Load Washers. Are they good?

  i have been thinking about getting front load washer for my home, but i have not decided which brand, etc to get.

  any recommendations?.

  In Australia they are not popular at all, most stores have only one for sale compaed to many top loaders....I stayed at an expensive resort which had front load washer/dryer combo's which were totally useless!

Not all of them were of gigantic size. Even if they survived till the flood this would not have required taking pairs of mammoth varieties into the Ark. Other smaller members of a family kind would have sufficed to furfill the divine command..."

  Poor Adam and Eve after leaving Eden being chased by the T. Rex!!!!
